1. Introduction Our world is moving toward an aged society due to the benefits of continuous improvement of health care system. Advanced countries in North America and Europe already have a higher proportion of their population over the age of 65, and a large proportion of older people live alone. One concern is that they are expected to be isolated from our society. Recently, this phenomenon can be easily observed across many Asian countries including Korea, Japan, and China, which challenges policy makers in these countries how to take care for the increasing elderly population.
